Judge Jennifer Harlacher Sibum graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1990 and the Dickinson School of Law in 1993. She served as a judicial law clerk to then President Judge Ronald E. Vican of the Monroe County Court of Common Pleas from 1993 through 1995. Judge Sibum entered private practice in 1995 with the law firm of Newman, Williams, Corveleyn, Wolfe & Fareri. She established her own solo practice in 2000 where she focused her practice in the areas of family and education law, criminal defense, zoning and real estate. Judge Sibum was a special public defender from 2000 to 2005 and the Monroe County Protection from Abuse Advocate from 2003 to 2009.
Judge Sibum is a former member of the Pocono Heritage Land Trust and former Chairperson of the Monroe County United Way Day of Caring. She presently serves on the Board of Directors of the Monroe County Historical Association. Judge Sibum was elected to the bench in November 2009 and is the Administrative Judge of the Family Division of the Court of Common Pleas.
